Introduction

​

Sacha inchi, meaning "Inca nut" in the Quechua language, is the seed of a plant that is native to the Amazon rainforest of Peru.

​

Sacha Inchi has been cultivated on acidic soil, close to water bodies by indigenous people for thousands of years.  The star-shaped fruit of plant turns dark brown when ripe. The seeds/nuts contain 17 times the omega-3 oil content of salmon, as well as all eight essential amino acids.

The cold-pressing process of the sacha inchi seeds ensures that all nutrients remain preserved.
