Introduction

100% natural raw camu camu powder is made from camu camu berries which grow on trees in the flooded areas of the Amazon rainforest. After two years the tree matures and produces berry fruit, the size of a lime, but yellow and dark-purple in color.

​

Camu camu offers the highest documented source of Vitamin C, providing 30-60 times more than an orange, and 200 times more than a banana. Camu also contains important nutrients such as antioxidants, amino acids, phytochemicals, and minerals such as potassium and beta-carotene.

​

For export, the camu camu berries are washed and dehydrated before pulverized into a fine dark yellow powder with a delicious tangy flavor and odor.
